Grimsby Properties to be Auctioned Amid Council’s Plans

Title: Upcoming Auction in Grimsby Features Noteworthy Properties

Two prominent buildings in Grimsby, including a former social club, and a former bank, are scheduled for auctioning later this month. This move is part of North East Lincolnshire Council’s recent disposal plans. The buildings under consideration are the previously known Standard Club located on Freshney Drive, which has a guide price of £150,000, and a building at 131-135 Cleethorpe Road valued at £50,000. In a recent council report, both properties have been classified as ‘liabilities,’ due to the deteriorated state of the Cleethorpe Road property and issues of public nuisance related to the former club. The forthcoming auction will be orchestrated by Pugh Auctions, a division of Eddisons, on the 26th and 27th of August.
