A 47-year-old resident of Scunthorpe, Stacie John Farrar, has received a prison sentence of three years and three months upon being convicted for sexually abusing two children. The ruling followed Farrar’s trial at Grimsby Crown Court in June, in which he was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault on a child under the age of 13. Earlier this week, an indefinite restraining order and a sexual harm prevention order were handed down to Farrar by Hull Crown Court. Furthermore, Farrar will be registered indefinitely on the sex offenders list, a measure designed for lifetime monitoring and community safety enhancement.
