Safe Stolen from Lincoln Charity Shop in Brazen Break-In

A Barnardo’s charity shop located in the Nettleham Road Shopping Centre, Lincoln, experienced an audacious break-in resulting in a safe of money stolen. The occurrence transpired between Monday night and Tuesday morning. Intruders achieved entry by breaking a glass door. Lincolnshire Police have initiated an inquiry related to a report they received at 07:15 BST on Tuesday regarding the incident. The robbery has been particularly unsettling for the community as the shop’s primary function is fundraising to support vulnerable children and families across Lincolnshire. Tony Wray, a local resident, voiced his shock, describing the theft as ‘disgusting’ and ‘ridiculous’. The police are appealing for anyone who might have relevant information to get in touch.
