Immingham’s Pelham Road Set for a Month of Essential Drainage Overhaul

Residents in Immingham are bracing up for a four-week disruption, as North East Lincolnshire Council and its delivery partner, Equans, are all set for a crucial drainage makeover on Pelham Road, between Kings Road and Worsley Road. The comprehensive upgrades will include the replacement of several damaged road gullies and repairs to a number of collapsed surface water drainage connections. This key preparatory work is scheduled ahead of the planned carriageway resurfacing later in the summer. The drainage works will kick off on Monday, April 7, 2025, weather permitting of course, and could potentially see changes depending on the British weather’s whims. The contractors are set to commence at the Kings Road junction, gradually making their way towards the Worsley Road junction. To ensure the job’s efficient completion and to keep our hard-working contractors safe, 24-hour temporary traffic lights will be installed. Fear not, pedestrians, your footpath access will be kept intact throughout. The council, Equans, and contractor Civil Engineering Specialists wish to extend their apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused, assuring residents that the work will be carried out as swiftly and safely as possible.
