Woman Appears in Lincoln Crown Court Denies Causing Death by Dangerous Driving at A1 Services

Fiona Phippen, a 44-year-old woman from Church Close, Great Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, has made a not guilty plea to accusations of causing death through dangerous driving. She also refuted charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving during her appearance at Lincoln Crown Court.

The allegations stem from a horrific incident which took place on June 29th the previous year at a petrol station on the A1, specifically at Foston Services, near Grantham. The event resulted in the untimely death of a 20-year-old, Urwah Tanveer, who was standing next to a Mercedes car when the accident occurred.

Another victim, 83-year-old Samina Idris, who was inside the Mercedes, suffered severe injuries.
