Burst Pipes in Spalding Disrupt Schools and Leave Residents Without Water

An estimated 3,000 Spalding residents are dealing with water supply disruptions or reduced pressure due to dual bursts in mains pipes. The incident, which began on Haverfield Road, has led to the unplanned closure of Spalding Grammar School and presented challenges to local households since Wednesday morning. The impact has also extended to the South Holland District Council offices located on Priory Road and Munchkins Kindergarten, resulting in 60 children having to be sent home earlier. Complications have been further exacerbated by a second pipe rupture on Winsover Road. Employees from Anglian Water are working diligently to resolve these issues, with normal water supply expected to be fully restored by 20:00 BST on Thursday.
