A Skegness-based police officer, PC Thomas DeZan, has been formally charged with non-fatal strangulation and controlling or coercive behaviour towards a partner. The Lincolnshire Police Authority has confirmed that these allegations were said to have occurred between the 1st of June and the 15th of August 2024. Further, Lincolnshire Police have stated that PC DeZan is suspended from duty pending investigation. He is due to appear before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on the 24th of September.
