Burgh le Marsh’s Bling Blag: Jewellery Snatched & Windows Whacked!

A rash of burglaries has swept through the tranquil town of Burgh le Marsh near Skegness, sending shockwaves through the community. The miscreants targeted three properties, making off with a trove of treasured trinkets. The audacious acts of thievery unfolded between Tuesday, March 25, and Saturday, March 29. An unknown felon first struck on Venables Close, neatly removing a window pane to gain entry between 11am on March 25 and 5.30pm on March 28. The crime spree continued on Wainfleet Road, where a window was audaciously shattered for the thief to gain access. This occurred between 1.50pm on March 27 and 7pm on March 28. A third property on Marsh Lane fell prey to the same window-smashing method within the same timeframe. Lincolnshire Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or who possesses potentially crucial doorbell or dashcam footage to contact the Skegness Criminal Investigation Department. Emails can be sent to DC Mark Teague at mark.teague@lincs.police.uk. Let’s help bring these heartless hooligans to justice, folks!
