Visitors to Baysgarth Park in Barton Upon Humber can now benefit from the newly reopened public toilets, due to the dedicated work of The Ropewalk charity. The toilet amenities had been inactive for several years as a result of persistent vandalism but have now been cleaned and refurbished by the charity’s staff and volunteers.
Liz Bennet, Chief Executive of The Ropewalk, commended the community’s affirmative response to the reopening. The charity has committed to maintaining the toilets, which are available from Wednesday to Sunday, to ensure families and park visitors have access to these vital facilities.
This successful initiative by The Ropewalk comes after their lease of Baysgarth House Museum from North Lincolnshire Council, creating a logical expansion of their contributions within the local area.
