Seven to Appear in Court Following Fatal Crash in Tongue End

In a devastating event which has deeply affected local inhabitants, a group comprising six men and one woman are due to appear in court in relation to the death of Sean Burlton, a 28-year-old father of three. His untimely demise occurred in November 2023 when the vehicle in which he was travelling crashed into a waterlogged ditch on Counter Drain Drove, in Tongue End, Lincolnshire.

Mr Burlton, who is dearly missed by his family and known for his devotion to the sport of fishing, was part of a vehicular collision involving three cars. Two men among the seven have been charged with manslaughter and causing death by dangerous conduct on the road; all seven are alleged to have conspired to inflict actual bodily harm.

The court case is set to commence at Boston Magistrates’ Court on the 15th of October, 2025. Given the tragic circumstances of Mr Burlton’s death, local residents and the wider community will closely follow the proceedings, in hopes of finding justice and some measure of closure.
