An 85-year-old woman from Honington is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court in connection with a tragic accident in Grantham that resulted in a mobility scooter rider’s death. The woman, Ann Fletcher of Hallfield Crescent, faces charges of causing death by careless driving. The incident took place on Broad Street on 14th August of the previous year and resulted in the passing of a 61-year-old man. An ongoing police investigation has been conducted by Lincolnshire Police, with Fletcher set to appear in court on 9th October.
