Conisbrough Man Jailed for Child Sex Offences in Skegness

A resident of Conisbrough, South Yorkshire, aged 70, has received a 13-year prison term after admitting to numerous offences related to child sexual exploitation, with some incidents occurring in Skegness. Handed the sentence at Lincoln Crown Court, the crimes David Marsh confessed to encompass child sexual assault involving physical contact, attempted child rape, intrusion assault, and provoking a child into participating in sexual acts. These events transpired from July 2016 to July 2019. Alongside his prison term, Marsh has been subjected to an interminable sexual harm prevention order. Detective Sergeant David Ziller, who performed the duties of Acting Detective during this case, praised the courageousness of the victim in voicing their ordeal and expressed his hope that the verdict offers a degree of justice. He also recognised the contribution of all those who were part of the investigation and urged other possible victims of such abuse to not hold back from seeking help.
