Skegness Man Jailed for Breaching Restraining Order

Matthew Dunn, a 54-year-old resident of The Meadows, Skegness, has been handed a prison sentence of two years and nine months. The sentencing follows a sequence of infringements towards two of his former relationships. The Lincoln Crown Court was informed that Dunn violated a suspended sentence via contacting an ex-partner whom he had formerly threatened with a kitchen knife. In defiance of a restraining order, Dunn persistently contacted the woman, leaving her living in fear. He also unwarrantedly entered the home of another previous partner, resulting in property damage. Dunn, who has a history of 31 convictions, has now been incarcerated. In the court’s view as voiced by Judge James House KC, Dunn was solely responsible for his predicament.
