Lincolnshire Police have established a cordon around a property in Wainfleet following the arrest of a 55-year-old man on firearms charges. Authorities are currently examining and removing items of interest located at the property on New End. The cordon, spanning 60 metres, begins from the intersection of Magdalen Road and Spilsby Road, extending towards North Holme Road, and ends at its junction with Spilsby Road. As a precautionary measure, inhabitants of properties on Brewster Lane, Spilsby Road, as well as the High Street up until Magdalen Road are being evacuated. Residents are being temporarily accommodated at Coronation Hall until the situation has been diffused. This information was originally reported by the BBC and has been adapted by The Lincoln Post.
