Residents of the esteemed One The Brayford development in Lincoln have been permitted to return to their residences after spending several months in temporary lodgings due to fire safety issues. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service issued a prohibition notice back in April, underlining significant risks that required a temporary evacuation of the premises. Recent reports confirm that the building is now up to par with the required fire safety standards, enabling all 51 residents to move back in. During this episode, the City of Lincoln Council incurred an expenditure of £80,000 to provide emergency shelter. Dan Moss, representative of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, showed appreciation for the residents’ patience while necessary safety adjustments were put into place. Both the council and the fire service worked painstakingly to make sure residents could return to their homes at Brayford Wharf North safely.
