Local Couple and Strictly Star Shine in Lincoln’s Festive Pantomime

A local couple and a former Strictly star are getting ready to dazzle audiences in a festive production at the New Theatre Royal Lincoln. Husband and wife team Joshua Mumby and Kristel Herrera will be hitting the stage as Robin Hood and Maid Marian in the theatre’s pantomime presentation of Robin Hood.

The pair, who hail from Grimsby, are eager to perform in Lincoln – a city which holds a special place in their relationship as it’s where they officially tied the knot. They’re delighted to be spending the holiday season close to their family, embracing their mutual love for theatre.

The cast is further fortified with the inclusion of Louis Smith, a past Olympic gymnast and champion of Strictly Come Dancing. Smith, who has previously graced stages in local pantomimes, will be playing the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham. Eager to interact with the audience, especially younger members, Smith is looking forward to being part of the Christmas extravaganza.

The curtains rise on the pantomime, which is set to be a big hit with local families, on 5 December. The show will run until 4 January.
