Lincolnshire Police received reports on Sunday evening at approximately 21:40 BST of an incident at Witham Bank East, located near Sluice Bridge. Responding to the scene, officers located a black Audi A4 submerged in the water. The 39-year-old driver, the only individual in the vehicle, was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
