Grimsby Car Fires Prompt Safety Concerns for Nearby Lincolnshire Residents

A disturbing incident transpired in Grimsby in the early hours of Tuesday morning, causing alarm amongst the residents of nearby Lincolnshire. Emergency services from Humberside Fire and Rescue was summoned to Barmouth Drive, following the report of five cars being set on fire. This severe situation led to the evacuation of residents from three homes. Humberside Police detained two men, aged 39 and 41, under suspicion of plotting to commit arson. While the incident took place a short distance from the Lincolnshire border, it has sparked local conversations around the necessity of community safety measures. In relation to the same incident, an 18-year-old male was arrested but has since been discharged under investigation. However, the authorities have professed that they do not suspect his involvement in the arson.
