Local Man Denies Attempted Murder in Lincoln Assault Case

Matthew Pearson, aged 29, homeless, was brought before Lincoln Crown Court to face charges related to the attempted murder of Alan Ward, aged 37. The incident, which took place on Monks Road on the 31st of August, left Mr Ward suffering from severe injuries. Although Pearson pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, he did confess to the charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. His mother, Sarah Mason, aged 46, is also facing charges related to the case.
