A Skegness-based police officer has refuted allegations of non-fatal strangulation and conducting coercive or controlling behaviour towards a partner. PC Thomas DeZan, 32, presented himself at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday, refuting both charges. He has been granted bail and is scheduled to stand trial on 18 January at the same court. Lincolnshire Police have substantiated that PC DeZan is currently suspended from his duties as they await the conclusion of the trial.
