In a regrettable incident, Viktors Zeglovs, 34, a man of no fixed residence, has admitted in court the murder of his friend in Spalding, a Lincolnshire market town. On 11th November 2024, the attack on 45-year-old Vadims Zmicerevskis, involving a broken bottle, took place at the intersection of Green Lane and St Thomas Road. Initially, Zeglovs pleaded not guilty, however, upon changing his plea, he attended court via video link from prison at Lincoln Crown Court. The date set for his sentencing is 11th December.
