South Kesteven Set for Council Elections with New Photo ID Requirements

People residing in South Kesteven have been notified about the new regulation of showing a photo ID when they cast their votes in the forthcoming council elections. The said elections, which are slated on December 11, will witness the residents casting votes for the Aveland Ward and Belmont Ward seats. The polling stations will be open from 07:00 to 22:00 GMT, and the residents who wish to opt for postal votes should make sure that their ballots reach by the cut-off time of 22:00 on the election day. These postal votes can be handed in at the council premises in Grantham or at any of the polling stations on voting day, alongside a Postal Vote Return Form. Karen Bradford, the officer presiding over the returning votes, reiterates the significance of local elections and urges voters to be completely ready in advance to ensure that the voting process goes off smoothly.
