Residents of a Grimsby estate, including young children, rolled up their sleeves for a large-scale clean-up operation. Sisters Daisy and Thea-Mai contributed to the efforts by discarding their old toys. As a token of appreciation, the little helpers were rewarded with Easter eggs. Eleven skips were strategically placed around the Nunsthorpe estate to discourage littering on the streets. The clean-up event was a joint initiative of Lincolnshire Housing Partnership and the Oasis Hub South School. Michelle Donner, the community lead at the school, reported that by 10:00 am, three of the skips were already full, necessitating the addition of extra skips.
