Lincoln City has effectively finalised an arrangement to recruit defender Josh Honohan from Shamrock Rovers. The transfer, due to be completed in January, will see the 24-year-old joining the Imps team as they contend in England’s League One, pending international clearance and the approval of the English Football League.
Honohan’s most recent game for the Irish team concluded successfully, as he partook in their FAI Cup final victory over Cork City earlier this month. With nearly a hundred appearances for Shamrock Rovers under his belt, his expertise is expected to enhance Lincoln City’s defence significantly.
