Title: Bradley Confident Lincoln City Can Secure Promotion This Season
Defender Sonny Bradley is backing Lincoln City to attain promotion from League One this term. The 34-year-old seasoned player, who has spent previous seasons with successful teams Derby County and Luton Town, believes the Lincoln side has the necessary elements to climb the league ladder. Bradley’s confidence heightened when he helped push the Imps to second place in the league over the festive period by scoring a decisive goal against leading team Cardiff City.
“We have all that’s needed to realise our ambitions,” Bradley relayed to BBC Radio Lincolnshire. “I’ve been on teams that have achieved promotion at this level more than once, so I understand the requirements, particularly for securing a top six spot. Last season, I was on loan to a top six Wycombe side, and it seems we have all the right components in our current camp too.”
Bradley’s positivity is anticipated to galvanise both fans and his fellow players as the Imps hope to secure a top-tier finish and aim for a Championship return for the first time since the 1998-1999 football season.
