TransPennine Express to Dish Out Easter Delights with a Golden Twist

In a delightful bid to sprinkle a bit of Easter cheer this April, TransPennine Express (TPE) is embarking on a festive egg giveaway. The campaign kicks off today, Monday, April 14, and will run until Thursday, April 17. TPE staff will treat customers travelling through chosen stations with specially crafted Easter egg boxes adorned with the TPE logo. Each box will be filled with tiny chocolate eggs, but a select few will hold something even more special. A golden TPE-branded egg, hidden in 20 of the Easter egg boxes, will bring a surprise to the lucky finders. Accompanied by a prize card, recipients stand the chance to win an array of rewards, from first-class or standard return travel tickets to £10 or £20 vouchers. Stations participating in this joyous giveaway include Cleethorpes, Dewsbury, Grimsby, Huddersfield, Hull, Malton, Manchester Airport, Middlesbrough, Northallerton, Scarborough, Scunthorpe, Thirsk and Thornaby. Andrew McClements, the Customer Experience & Transformation Director at TPE, expressed his excitement about sharing this little joy with customers, many of whom he knows will be travelling to see loved ones over the Easter half-term. Customers planning to travel over the Easter bank holiday are recommended to plan ahead and check for any engineering works on the network by visiting tpexpress.co.uk/travel-updates/spring-travel.
