A young man of 18 years has found himself in hot water with Lincolnshire Police following reports of a group of men, adorned in balaclavas and recklessly riding e-bikes, causing a stir in the heart of Lincoln. The incident occurred around 2pm on Friday, April 11. The Lincoln Neighbourhood Policing Team, acting swiftly on the information, identified and apprehended an individual fitting the description given in the reports. The teenager was arrested under suspicions of dangerous driving. The plot thickened when, following a search, he was further arrested under suspicion of involvement in the distribution of a Class B drug. An e-bike was subsequently seized as part of the ongoing investigation. The individual has since been released under investigation, whilst Lincolnshire Police continue their inquiries. The force has reiterated their commitment to cracking down on e-bike related anti-social behaviour and urges the public to report any such incidents.
