A multitude of fire and rescue teams were deployed to combat a vicious fire that engulfed several barns and stables in the vicinity of Coningsby yesterday. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue dispatched eight fire engines to the incident on Langrick Road, New York at 21:45 on Wednesday, 16th April. Local residents were advised to seal their doors and windows due to the ongoing situation. The incident was initially reported on Twitter by the service, asserting that eight units were actively engaged in battling the fire. However, by the wee hours of Thursday, 17th April, the scale of the emergency was downscaled to three fire engines. As of 8am this morning, a single fire engine remains active on the scene. The cause of the fire is not yet determined.
