Lincolnshire Springs to Life with a Medley of Merriment and Mega Bunnies

From Cleethorpes to Grantham, Lincolnshire has been a hive of both jubilation and festivity over the preceding week. Cleethorpes was a joyful spectacle during the Easter celebrations, with photographs capturing locals and visitors alike basking in the sunshine and relishing their time at The Signal Box Inn. As Lincolnshire anticipates the 80th VE Day commemorations, the Armed Forces Team has urged county residents to participate and honour our heroes.

Meanwhile, culinary and shopping enthusiasts had the pleasure of savouring a cultural experience as Cleethorpes re-opened its International Market Extravaganza. With a plethora of unusual and global specialties available, it served to be an international affair right in our region.

The excitement didn’t stop there; Freshney Place became an epicentre of Easter festivities on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, ensuring enjoyable moments for families. Additionally, TransPennine Express passengers journeying from Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe might find themselves amidst unanticipated Easter surprises with a golden touch, adding a zest to their journeys.

While we bid farewell to the renowned Horse Sculptures of North Lincolnshire, which are prepared for sale, we also look ahead with enthusiasm, anticipating the colour and rhythm of the summer music festival at Wyndham Park in Grantham.

To sum it up, it’s been a week of tunes, laughter, and – extraordinary yet – giant bunnies. Our dynamic community is brimming with eager expectation for the thrilling moments lying ahead. Here’s to another week of Lincolnshire embracing life to the fullest!
