A male and female were injured when their vehicle left the A180 near Immingham, leading to an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage by the Humberside Police. The event led to the closure of the road at approximately 5.50pm. The male, who was driving, needed oxygen therapy from Humberside Fire and Rescue due to neck and back pain. The female passenger was said to have been thrown from the vehicle. Paramedics attended the scene and emergency crews utilised small tools in order to ensure the safety of the site.
The vehicle exited the road under uncertain conditions and came to rest on a grass verge as it was headed towards Healing. The 47-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with major injuries, and the 39-year-old man was also evaluated in the hospital. Authorities have issued a plea for anyone in the area with dashcam footage at the time to contact them via non-emergency number 101, quoting log 353 of 19 April.
