A new data centre, which has the potential to create up to 1,000 jobs, is being proposed for North Lincolnshire. An initial application detailing plans for the possible development on a site covering roughly 180 hectares, located to the south and east of the Elsham Wolds Industrial Estate, has been put forward to North Lincolnshire Council. This suggestion comes on the heels of the council’s earlier endorsement of a £2.2 billion data centre near the A180 by South Killingholme, projected to produce close to 400 jobs.
