Residents in Bourne, a Lincolnshire town, are being encouraged to tightly close their windows and doors whilst fire crews work to control a substantial fire. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue reported the incident, which originated on Tunnel Bank early on the morning of Saturday, April 26th. Although the precise location has not been disclosed, photographs imply that the fire is originating from an industrial facility near the town’s periphery. In a statement disseminated via the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the fire service has strongly advised local residents and businesses to ensure their premises remain closed whilst control efforts persist. As of 8:30 am, emergency operations are still ongoing.
