Barton Park Blossoms with £120k Makeover

Barton-upon-Humber’s cherished Dam Road park has revealed a refreshed appearance following a substantial £120,000 refurbishment, as disclosed by North Lincolnshire Council. The restructured park now showcases advanced play equipment, augmented seating areas, improved walkways, supplementary waste bins, improved CCTV surveillance, and exuberant new plantings. The alteration was initiated by The Friends of Barton Parks and financially underpinned by a variety of grants. Councillor Paul Vickers, head of the group, commented, ‘This is more than a facelift, it is a commitment to health, wellbeing, and our local environment.’
