Lincoln Cathedral Canon Takes Royal Role at Windsor

The Reverend Canon Dr Nick Brown, a respected figure from Lincoln Cathedral, is set to transition into a prestigious role at the highly-esteemed St George’s Chapel in Windsor, an appointment that has gained the authorization of the King. Having responded to the call of religious duty at Lincoln Cathedral in December 2020, Canon Brown has been integral in the role of precentor, and more noticeably, as the interim dean, a challenging role which he found equally rewarding. While moving on brings mixed feelings of joy and nostalgia, Canon Brown eagerly awaits the next steps in his journey within the Windsor community. As part of his new role, his duties will encompass management of properties, records, and the library, alongside shouldering the responsibility of praying on behalf of the King.
