Lincoln Man Jailed for Violent Attacks on Partner

Title: Lincoln Resident Imprisoned for Harsh Assaults on Partner

Revised Content:

A resident of Lincoln, with a concerning track record of violence against defenceless women, has received a sentence exceeding four years in jail. Kieran Bond, aged 22, with no identifiable home address, was given a sentence of four years and five months by the Lincoln Crown Court after conducting a range of harsh assaults against his partner. The court proceedings revealed that Bond’s violent actions began in June in Blackpool and escalated with numerous occurrences of him kicking, punching, and brandishing a knife against his partner in her Lincoln-based residence. Crimes Bond confessed to span from June to November 2024 and incorporate actual bodily harm, battery, deliberate strangulation, intimidating a witness, controlling and psychologically tormented behaviour, and manipulation of justice. A notably distressing incident involved Bond hitting his partner’s foot with a hammer and choking her for a short period of time, instilling a deep fear for her own life. Even though the attacks were intense, the victim has dismissed many allegations and refrained from delivering her victim impact statement in court, allegedly under Bond’s pressure to withdraw her testimony. In the defence’s argument, Paul O’Shea drew attention to Bond’s difficult past and endeavours at reformation while under incarceration. Judge Simon Hirst recognised Bond’s confession but condemned his history of violence, underlining the fear and damage he caused his partner.
