Gainsborough Resident Faces Murder Trial After Elderly Man’s Death

Jason Waite, a 54-year-old resident of Church Lane in Gainsborough, is due to face trial at Lincoln Crown Court on 29 September. The initial charge of grievous bodily harm has been escalated to murder following the passing of an 87-year-old man. The incident occurred in Snitterby on 17 December 2024. It involved a purported dispute which led to the elderly man receiving a head injury, causing his death two days later.
