Four reticulated pythons, an exotic and non-venomous species, have been discovered abandoned in North Lincolnshire, as per reports from Humberside Police. Authorities from the Twigmoor and Cleatham regions found these non-native reptiles and believe one more may still be loose in the wild. The police have advised against personal attempts at capturing this snake, encouraging dog owners to exercise caution by keeping their pets on a lead. In the event of a sighting, the public should immediately contact the authorities. Investigations concerning potential violations of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 are currently being conducted by the police’s rural task force.
