In a saddening update over the weekend, emergency services engaged in the search for a missing teenager at Anderby Creek beach in Lincolnshire have located a body. The effort to find the teen commenced shortly before 15:00 BST on Saturday, mobilising numerous agencies including RNLI lifeboat crews, HM Coastguard terrestrial units, helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, police drones, and local patrolling police.
The find was confirmed by Lincolnshire Police in the early hours of Sunday morning. The family of the boy, who are naturally distressed at this time, are being provided support by specially trained officers.
