Residents and commuters in Lincoln are being advised to anticipate disruptions due to another series of overnight road closures earmarked for August. These closures form an integral part of the on-going development to construct a new road bridge over a railway line. The culmination of this project is expected to notably improve access to the Charterholme housing development.
There has been a significant and noticeable amount of work taking place since April to enhance the eastern access to Tritton Road. The City of Lincoln Council has confirmed that contractors are poised to install new traffic lights at the intersection of Tritton Road and Dixon Street. As a result of these installations, the intersection will shut down from 20:00 to 06:00, spanning from the 4th to the 15th of August.
