Buckle up, Lincolnshire locals! It looks like it’s time to keep a keen eye on the speedometer, as local law enforcement is set to ramp up their speed-check efforts. Mobile speed camera vans will be popping up around our beloved county over the next week. Keep an eye out on the A180 near Grimsby and parts of the A15, among other bustling routes. The daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website will give you a clue as to where these mobile monitors may be lurking. However, remember they are as unpredictable as the English weather, with enforcement officers set to visit various sites around the region. So, don’t count on the schedule as a get-out-of-jail-free card. Remember, Humberside Police and Safer Roads Humber can and will enforce speed limits at any time, anywhere. Check out the specific locations for the upcoming week below: March 31: Rosper Road, Killingholme; April 1: West End Road, Epworth; April 2: A180 between Great Coates junction and Pyewipe roundabout; April 3: A15 Ermine Street (south of Redbourne Mere); April 4: West End Road, Epworth; April 5 and 6: Various sites across the region. If you are planning a trip over the Humber Bridge to the North Bank, be aware that mobile cameras will also be monitoring these routes. Drive safe, folks!
