Here is a selection of recent notices… On 13th March 2025, we lost a treasured soul at Scunthorpe General Hospital at the age of 88. This devoted spouse and loving father will be remembered at St Peter’s Church, Bottesford on 11th April 2025, 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations for ‘St Peter’s Church’ and ‘The Forge Project’ are welcomed. Another deeply loved husband and father, Ian, passed away on 17th March 2025 at his home in Hibaldstow, aged 62. Flowers or donations for the benefit of ‘Cat-titude n Whiskers’ are appreciated. Jean, a beloved wife and stepmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on 6th March 2025 at Bridgewater Care Home, aged 77. A funeral service will take place on 10th April 2025, 2.40pm at Woodlands Crematorium Scunthorpe. Donations to benefit the Motor Neurone Disease Association are welcomed. Billy, a much-loved husband, father, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at home on 21st March 2025, aged 79. A celebration of his life will be held at The Pelham Suite, Cambridge Road, Grimsby on 11th April, 2.00pm. Von, the Former Chief Officer of Age Concern Grimsby, passed away on 17th March 2025, aged 78. A celebration of her life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on 24th April at 1.30 pm. Donations in her memory may be made to Age UK Grimsby or Macmillan Nurses. Chris, aged 42, passed away peacefully at Addenbrookes Hospital on 20th March. A service to celebrate his life will be in the Grimsby Crematorium on 17th April 2025 at 2.15pm. Donations to benefit ‘Addenbrooke’s Transplant Campaign’ are welcomed. A beloved sister and friend, Linda, passed away peacefully on 8th March 2025 aged 75. The service will take place on 11th April 2025 at St John’s Church, Brigg. Donations are thankfully received for Alzheimer’s UK. And finally, we lost a much-loved mum and grandma on 22nd March 2025, aged 97. The service will take place at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on 15th April 2025.
