A catastrophic blaze that devoured a caravan in the coastal hamlet of Ingoldmells earlier this week, has had its origins traced back to a rogue fuse board. Firefighting teams from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue received the alarm and hastened to the scene in Roman Bank, Ingoldmells on the chilly night of Tuesday, April 1. The team from Skegness Fire Station, alongside colleagues from Wainfleet Fire Station, arrived at the inferno around the stroke of 10:45 pm. Armed with a pair of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, and a thermal imaging camera, the fire was soon brought under control. A representative from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue has since confirmed that an electrical mishap within the fuse board was the culprit behind the blaze.
