NHS Hospital Group’s Boss on Leave after High-Ranking Rumble

Jonathan Lofthouse, head honcho of the NHS Humber Health Partnerships Group, one of the biggest hospital groups in the NHS, is reportedly cooling his heels following a tiff with another top-dog, says an insider. The BBC has got wind that Lofthouse has been put on gardening leave after crossing swords with the group’s chairman, Sean Lyons. A mouthpiece for NHS Humber spilled the beans: ‘We can vouch that our group chief executive, Jonathan Lofthouse, is currently away from his desk. Meanwhile, group chief nurse Amanda Stanford will be holding the reins.’ Both Lofthouse and Lyons have been sought for a chinwag on the matter.
