Fearful Mum Dons Chicken Suit to Bravely Trot Across Humber Bridge for Charity

A Hull mum, Claudia Devonshire, 29, battled her fear of heights and valiantly traversed the Humber Bridge in a chicken costume to raise funds for a children’s mental health charity, Aim Higher. Her husband, Daniel Devonshire, 32, joined her in this daring quest, offering a supportive hand as they crossed the landmark. The hilarious spectacle of their journey was captured by Daniel and shared on TikTok, amusing all observers. The couple embarked on this unique fundraiser in aid of the charity that had offered them much-needed guidance when they suspected their six-year-old son, Finley, of having autism and ADHD. The family, previously struggling to have Finley diagnosed, had ultimately turned to a private assessment costing £2,500. Post-diagnosis, Finley’s life has significantly improved, with the school offering more support and him being happier. The Devonshire family has so far raised £440 of their £500 target. Contributions can still be made on Aim Higher’s Just Giving page.
