The Valiant, a beloved community pub tucked away in The Willows, Grimsby, has been given a stunning £315,000 facelift. The grand reopening is set for 6pm on Thursday, 10th April, and locals are keen to step inside and see the transformation. The pub now boasts brand-new furnishings, flooring, and fixtures, bringing a fresh look and feel to this community staple. The back bar and function room have seen a complete refurbishment, now able to host up to 100 guests for special occasions. Patrons can also enjoy the four virtual dart boards, a pool table, and multiple televisions with Sky and TNT Sports. The outdoor area has been spruced up with new lighting, signage, and a spacious terrace, featuring circular benches seating up to 60 people. To celebrate the grand reopening, a complimentary Prosecco reception and live performance from local artist Shane, will begin from 7pm. The following evening, the pub will host a disco and karaoke night from 6pm, and on Saturday, 12th April, a live performance by singer Liam Maddison is scheduled. Local photographer, Donna Clifford, captured the pub’s new look for Grimsby Live.
