A tragic incident unfolded near Coningsby as a motorcyclist lost his life when his bike veered off the road. The authorities are currently seeking witnesses to the accident which occurred on Saturday afternoon (April 12). Emergency services were alerted to the incident on the B1192 Langrick Road, located between New York and Coningsby, shortly after 3.20pm. The 52-year-old man was riding a blue BMW R1200 GS motorbike towards New York and Boston at the time of the accident. Lincolnshire Police confirmed the rider’s unfortunate demise at the scene. Specialist officers are now providing support to the grieving family. In their quest to piece together the events leading up to the collision, the police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the accident or have recorded footage to come forward.
