A standard delivery swiftly transformed into a scene of drama in Grimsby when an Amazon van was allegedly stolen and driven dangerously across local playing fields. The occurrence transpired at approximately 5pm on a Thursday. As the driver was momentarily delivering a parcel, the unattended van was stolen on Ladysmith Road. Eyewitnesses recounted the van being driven in a perilous manner before being deserted by the wrongdoers who fled the scene with numerous parcels. In reaction to the incident, authorities promptly established a cordon on Ladysmith Road, momentarily interrupting traffic in the vicinity. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries. Humberside Police are currently conducting an investigation and encourage any individuals with viable information about the incident to contact them, using their non-emergency number 101, and quoting reference log 402 of 17 April.
