Good Friday Rail Disruption Looms with Hull Trains Strike

Rail services between Hull and London King’s Cross on the busy commuter rail line are likely to experience significant interruptions as drivers from Hull Trains plan industrial action on Good Friday. The impending walkout comes in response to what has been described as an unjust dismissal of a driver who voiced concerns over safety due to fatigue. It is predicted that several stations, including Selby, Doncaster, Retford, and Grantham will be affected. Hull Trains, however, have said they stand by their actions, maintaining the dismissal was warranted and assured their commitment to ‘always prioritise the safety of our customers and staff.’ Travellers are being urged to check their journeys ahead of the holiday weekend.
