Probe Continues into Saxilby Industrial Estate Blaze

The ongoing investigation into the blaze that broke out at Saxilby Enterprise Park, continues to develop. The incident took place on Monday, April 21, and the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were quick to respond with substantial resources. Keeping the blaze under control required the use of eight fire appliances, including an aerial unit. As a safety measure during the incident, local residents were counselled to keep their doors and windows shut. The fire occurred at the Lindum Skip Hire and Waste Recycling site, as confirmed by the representatives from the Lindum Group. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries due to the fire. A representative from the company mentioned that the fire service department is actively undertaking the investigation of the fire’s cause. As of Tuesday, April 22, confirmation from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue affirms that they are persistently working on-site to reveal the origin of the fire.
