Grimsby Glows with St George’s Day Festivities

The Bradley Inn in Grimsby was a beacon of joy and merriment as locals convened to commemorate St George’s Day with profound enthusiasm. Amongst the highlights was the delightful yearly tradition upheld by Cleethorpes resident, Ian Burrett, who was attired as a knight. Imbuing a unique twist, he chose to navigate a Lambretta scooter transformed into a dragon, vividly re-enacting the famed tale of St George’s triumph over the formidable beast at Dragon Hill, Uffington. Our gallery showcases Ian in his full knightly grandeur, accompanied by over 30 cheerful individuals who also partook in the festivities. Donna Clifford skilfully captured all photographs for Grimsby Live.
